Get-togethers: June 6, Friday Holiday Inn, Sunnyside Blvd., Plainview "Singles Rap & Dance" We will be collecting canned foods to be donated to Ronald McDonald House of New Hyde Park. ************************* IN MEMORY OF HERB STONE ************************* Our dear, loyal friend and supporter has passed on to his greater life on March 31 of heart failure. Herb will be deeply missed. He touched our lives in such a profound way with his unselfish heart. Please pray for his wife, Phyllis, sons, Larry and Ian, their spouses and children. A founding board member and treasurer for nearly 20 years, Herb was much better at doing good deeds than he was at taking credit for his acts of kindness. Those of us who had the privilege to know Herb remember his easygoing nature and dry sense of humor. He had a special talent, when you least expected it, to stay something funny or bring out a gag trick at the right moment. More than anything else, Herb was a genuine and wonderful human being. His spirit will live on in our hearts forever. God Bless you Herb Stone for making this world a sweeter place. Those of you who knew Herb know what a special man he really was.
